Jesus Bermudez is a proud first-generation college graduate who is passionate about creating meaningful, real-world opportunities for students. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona and brings extensive experience supporting student success through experiential learning, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Jesus is deeply committed to equity and access and enjoys building student-centered programs that help students grow academically, professionally, and personally. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing tennis, spending time with family, and staying engaged in his community through service.

Bushra is a proud UCR alumna with a background in Education and Liberal Studies and a Master’s in Education. She is passionate about supporting students, especially first-generation and historically underserved communities, and believes in creating accessible pathways to success. Bushra brings experience as a classroom teacher and reading intervention specialist, which shapes her student-centered approach. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and quality time with her family.

Diego Mora is a dedicated professional specializing in student engagement and community service. After graduating from the University of Redlands, he led impactful initiatives at UCR, mobilizing thousands of volunteers for community-driven programs. Diego excels at creating inclusive spaces that empower individuals through dynamic service projects for the UCR College Corps community. Outside of work, he enjoys music and is a proud owner of a Doberman named Apollo.

Edward is a proud alum of the University of California system and serves as the Advisor for the Food Insecurity and Education focus areas at UCR College Corps. He is passionate about supporting first-generation and underserved students and believes in developing the civic engagement of students through critical thinking centered on service learning experiences. Outside of work, Edward enjoys fantasy experiences, rock-climbing, and volleyball.

Bryan is a proud UC Riverside alumnus dedicated to his role as the Fellow Retention Specialist at UCR College Corps. He focuses on empowering first-generation students to excel professionally while making a meaningful impact in their communities. When he’s not supporting students, you can find Bryan relaxing with his cat and family, diving into 80s hits, or caring for his aquariums.
